The second edition of the Guidebook is designed to help state educational agencies (SEAs) create an effective system to evaluate state-approved supplemental educational service(SES)providers. The text includes tools and strategies that will help readers determine evaluation measures, identify possible evaluation methodologies, and address the practical and technical considerations associated with an evaluation. The Guidebook can be used on its own, and is also used in conjunction with the SES technical asistance provided by CII to the regional comprehensive centers in their work with the states. The Guidebook may be downloaded for no charge from www.centerii.org.
